Welcome to Andrea!  Andrea has a PhD and experience in a medical research field, but has decided it's time for a major career change.  She'll be helping out with customer service, marketing, and regulatory requirements as we expand distribution outside Australia.  She has recently returned to Australia after many years working in the USA, so please don't laugh at her accent if you speak to her on the phone.  She can't help it, and is getting better slowly.

Welcome to Mostyn!  Mostyn will be helping out two days a week, Wednesday and Friday.  He has used a Snorer's Friend himself, much to his wife's delight, so he can answer questions about the Snorer's Friend from personal experience.  He is also the most organised person I have ever met.

The 4,000th Snorer's Friend was shipped to a customer in Burleigh Heads, QLD on March 13th.  Yay!  It sure has taken a lot of emails and phone calls but I've really enjoyed helping everyone.  Keep it coming!

2008 January Advertising on Facebook
I've started advertising on a website called facebook.com, which is a pretty cool site that helps you stay in touch with your friends.  It's a bit like myspace, but, well, a fair bit cooler.  Welcome all Facebookers!

2007 November Snorer's Friend number 3,000 sold off this website!
The 3,000th Snorer's Friend was shipped to a customer in WA on November 30th.  Yay!
I've sold a few more through various wholesale channels but that was the 3,000th retail sale.

2007 October New warehouse!
Have moved most of my business to 19 West St, Brompton, SA 5007.
 
Not a very pretty building, but it's great to be able to walk around in my house without falling over boxes!

Had some problems with RSVP, basically they changed their ad system and suddenly were just charging me for almost twice as many visitors as they were actually sending to my site.  Tried to sort it out but they just weren't interested in listening  :(  If you want to advertise on RSVP I can tell you a few things to watch out for.

Just started another campaign with RSVP, so welcome again to all RSVP members!  Hopefully this one will be a bit better than the last.  The last one started OK, but fizzled out fairly quickly.

2007 May 15 Google Adwords
I've just increased the amount of money I give Google to $1700 per month.  Sheesh that's a lot!  Most people don't know this but every time you click on one of those "sponsored results" in a google search the website operator gets charged.  The charge varies a bit depending on the keyword, but it's generally around 50c to to $1.50  Amazing what goes on behind the scenes, hey?

RSVP is a cool dating website where people of all ages can find someone fun to hang out with.  I've teamed up with RSVP to put some information on their website, to help snorers find out a bit more about snoring (and of course to introduce the idea of the Snorer's Friend)  So far the results are pretty good, with a definite jump in visitor rates to this website.  Welcome to all RSVP members!

2007 March 23  Recent service problems fixed
This website and my email have been off the air for the last 46 hours.... from approx 3am on March 21 until about half an hour ago, 1am March 23.  This was due to a server meltdown at the company that hosts this website.  Obviously I'll be changing hosting companies sometime in the next few days (that process is now complete).  Just wanted to let you know what happened, and apologise to those of you who sent email to me which didn't make it through.
